22nd Century Public School

Why 22nd Century Public School?

We prepare our children to meet global challenges while making sure that they retain their Indian values.

We build ocean liners with Indian anchors and ethical rudders.

In today's fast-changing world, when limitless opportunities are opening up for the young, we are extra watchful of the dangers that confront us, particularly the escalating alienation of adolescence, which is emerging to be the single greatest menace.

It means respect for the sanctity of the home, observance of ethics, kindness and integrity, courtesy and respect for elders and teachers. It means upholding truth, practicing ahimsa (non-aggression) towards our environment—whether living or inanimate, whether it be the society in which we live or the property that we use: values that have been handed down to us over the ages and which we believe are as relevant today.

We want our children to be aware of their rights and responsibilities as good citizens of their country.

HOMEWORK

The parents shall go through the School Diary for any communication on daily basis. Attend to your child's homework without fail and supervise them regularly. Bring the School Diary to the school every day. Those who do not bring it shall be fined.

School Assembly

Our day begins with prayer and assembly. The school assembly is well arranged where the students get a chance to get rid of their stage fear. The school is giving a solid foundation to our students into the world of knowledge, skills, right attitudes and values.

Message to Parents

Your child is a precious treasure that you have graciously received from God. Education of the child is the primary obligation of responsible parenthood. Thus, we strongly recommend that every parent try to find ample time, irrespective of everyday heavy schedule, to take care of the child.

Enable your child to learn the lessons of love, kindness, faith, truth, charity, and respect from the home itself. Do not expect that your child will learn these lessons from others. The school authorities and teachers can extend only a helping hand in order to fulfill your obligations. Maximum co-operation and support of parents is required and thus desired to realize all that is best in the child. Let us all co-operate with each other in this noble endeavor.

The parents should pay only appropriate attention to the complaints of the children, and try to inculcate respect for elders, parents, teachers, and authorities, maintaining discipline and honesty.

Always try to promote the value of charity in your child, for charity begins at home.

Any malpractice detected during or subsequent to an examination will lead to disqualification or even dismissal from the school.

Avoid criticizing teachers or school authorities in the presence of your child as it can create a loose attitude towards discipline and school systems. Handle conflicting situations with utmost care and maturity. However, if there are genuine complaints, discuss the matter with the Principal during office hours by prior appointment.

Parents or guardians are not allowed to enter the classroom or adjacent verandas during school hours. They shall not meet students or interview teachers during school hours without prior permission from the Principal.

The person authorized to take the child back home should be introduced to the school authorities by the parents/guardians. Parents are strongly requested not to take the child back home before the scheduled time.

Change of address or phone numbers shall be immediately notified to the school office.

Any matter related to school, including telephone calls, will be attended only during school hours.
